It's a nice fun way to get the kids excited for Christmas and one that takes a little less of the focus off the gifts they will be receiving under the tree.

Truly, this has turned out to be one of the greatest holiday investments. We started this tradition with Alexis when she was 4. She's now 6, and even this year, she is getting so excited because she knows Pixie will soon be coming to visit!!
...it's filled our holiday with so much fun and excitement!!

Tommy has become a wonderful part of our Christmas time tradition. He also leaves inspirational messages and Bible verses for the kids to look up. The Christmas season would not be complete or near as much fun if Tommy didn't come for a visit. The best part is the kids know he is real because their mom is such a neat freak she would NEVER put toothpaste on the mirrors or popcorn on the floor!! Blessings to you this beautiful Christmas season.

The holidays for us always end up being a real run-around, busy time, and this really is a simple way to have family fun together every day before Christmas, while also remembering to be grateful for all our blessings. Truly, this is fun, it's simple- and it's spiritual and uplifting also!

I think most of you heard me talk about Oliver the Elf last year if you were around me at all. For those of you far away and might not have heard, this is possibly one of the best things I have ever spent $30 on.
This is what it is all about. You buy an elf package from elfingaround.com and you receive an elf and a booklet telling you what to do for your adventures. Basically - for 2 weeks the elf comes alive at night and gets into mischief. For instance, one night Sam woke up in the morning to find that Oliver the Elf had "decorated" the Christmas tree with his underwear. You can imagine the giggles- he went wild.
One night Oliver made "reindeer food" in the kitchen (oatmeal and glitter) and made quiet a mess.....leaving all the cabinets open too. Its so easy. Sam went to sleep every night with Oliver but woke up to find him anywhere else in the house. The set up was always quick and worth every second.
For me - it was like getting to experience that "Santa morning" excitement for 2 weeks straight- but with Oliver. Sam was 5 last year and talked about Oliver all year. Truly will be one of my favorite memories with the kids forever!

I wanted to share a new family Christmas tradition. Last year we were introduced to a wonderful and imaginative company, Elfing Around. (http://elfingaround.com) Elfing Around manufactured genuine Christmas Spirit and shipped it to our home in the form of Evergreen the Elf.
Evergreen arrived ready to validate our son’s belief in Santa. He came with an adventure guidebook for 12 nights of fun mischief. In this book we found creative adventures that we (parents & Evergreen) staged at night for our son to wake up to. Evergreen made the days leading up to Christmas magical. I hope you’ll take the time to visit the website and please forward this email to your friends and family.

CHRISTMAS ELF DOLLS CHANGE CHRISTMAS!
Who knew a visit from a 12-inch plush elf doll would change Christmas? My friends had been talking about the excitement and magic their elf dolls had brought to their families during the last Christmas season, and insisted that I order my very own plush elf doll for my kids. OK – but I’m starting slowly – just one elf. That one elf doll changed EVERYTHING!
I ordered my Year One Complete Package. I set up the nightly adventures for my elf doll, now lovingly referred to as Glitter, as laid out in the Parent Adventure Guide Book. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Within a couple of nights, my kids were no longer talking about their must have gifts – it was all about our new elf doll friend, Glitter. Glitter became an overnight sensation in our home. She became part of the family. Glitter was always being held by one of my children and talked about to everyone and anyone who would listen!
I must admit that I didn’t quite understand what all the hype was until they begged me to allow Glitter to stay a little longer. I decided that although Glitter was supposed to leave with Santa on Christmas Eve, I would surprise the kids and allow this plush elf doll to stay a few extra days. Honestly, I was enjoying watching the kids wake up every morning with such pure anticipation and wonder. So, on Christmas Eve I set out the gifts (everything on their lists. Yes, I had over bought again!) and Glitter. My kids woke up, tan to the tree and started screaming and crying happy tears. Not because of the gifts that I had spent so much time and energy on, but because our elf doll, Glitter, was still with us! This was the point when I realized this elf truly sprinkled my family with the true meaning of Christmas – none of the material gifts matter, it’s all about being with the ones you love. Thanks Elfing Around, for bringing Glitter into our lives. I think next year she will be bringing her brother, SlapJack!

My kids haven't stopped talking about their elves and are begging for their return. I'm so thankful for the Year 2 Adventure Guide. The ideas have been so creative!

These elves are so much fun! My daughters are still talking about Pixie and Dixie and counting down the days until they return. I'm going to order them for my nieces and nephews next year. I want to share the experience with everyone!

My daughter was so happy to have her very own elf. She had been writing to Santa, requesting an elf. Her friends already had them and she wanted to share in the fun. She was so delighted to have "Mistletoe" visit us during the holidays. Because she loved her so much, next year we're going to order a cousin for Mistletoe. Thanks for the memories!

The Magic has finally returned to Christmas! My kids (ages 8 and 10) loved their Elves and felt so special that Santa had sent these enchanted friends. Every morning they were so excited to find out what their Elves had been up to while they slept. An annual visit from these Elves will definitely be a tradition in our home. My kids couldn't wait to share their Elf stories with their friends.

Wow! My boys LOVE their elves! They are so excited to wake up each morning to discover the previous evening's adventure. This has been so much fun (for them and me)! Thanks for enriching our holidays!
